Let me just ask you if this incident was a recent occurrence or happened some time in the past? My point was that lots of poor decisions get made (look at the blank lease and renegotiating the VGA lease, that was already agreed to at a higher rent, downward to a lower rent and with several more renewal options, but that it seems very early in the game to decide that the current NP council, with three brand new members will make the same kind of decisions that so clearly upset you. Heck, I was even willing to give Black a chance. Give the new board an opportunity to make their own mistakes before we bash them for the choices of prior commissions. You can be an excellent official with integrity and vote for the right things, but if you don't happen to serve on a board wherein you are in the majority you're good choices are outvoted. Councilmembers/commissioners deserve to be looked at and evaluated on an individual basis. If one person could have changed things, the blank lease would never have happened.Now we have to live with it and try to make the best of it.
