Why was $1,578,000 of taxpayers money spent at the airport with little to show? Why are large jets (60,000 lb.)landing on a runway which has a 30,000 lb. maximum ? Why are there discounted hanger rents for this airport? Why isn't the airport management marketing this airport to small business? Why are a handful of zealots trying to make the airport into something that it will never be? Is it for personal financial gain? Why has the management of the airport become a statewide joke? With the private jet business collapsing, why would anyone have a business plan that is based on marketing to the private jet business? Why are most of the pilots displeased with the Venice Airport Business Association?
