LTR, well said; however, council will not do anything. Rather than uphold their oath of office, charter requirements and leadership obligations, council prefers to be continually surprised, embarrassed, mocked, ridiculed, humiliated, diminished and weakened. Despite all that, council allows Martin Black to lead in place of council. City has abandoned its responsibilities and lets Martin Black lead the City of Venice. The election was in vain. The proof is found in what just transpired about the airport, again. As with everything else about the airport, Martin Black leads and controls the agenda. For example, Martin Black's: calculated leak-link to Kim Hackett / Sarasota Herald-Tribune; his intentionally evasive and incriminating email about Mayor Martin; and his role in Tacy's mental meltdown email. Martin Black would not have ventured into that realm of deceit and deception unless he knew that he was in control. No fear.
