Head of Marketing: Naturisimo Location: Remote with occasional team meetups

About Us Naturisimo isn’t just another clean beauty company—we’re building a movement. A movement to liberate beauty and wellbeing from toxins, false promises, and unsustainable practices. We’re inviting customers, brands, and advocates to join us in a network. We’re not just selling products, we plan to inspire and incentivise our customers to take collective action, from buying certain products to leaving reviews, from building a network of customer-powered storefronts to participating in grassroots community campaigns.

We’re rebranding, and are looking for a Head of Marketing to take the lead in crafting and executing a strategy that turns our business into a thriving, customer-powered movement. Someone who isn’t just marketing to customers but empowering a community of advocates, ambassadors, influencers, celebrities and change-makers.

It positions Naturisimo as a pioneer in reimagining the relationship between profit and purpose, creating altruistic-led incentives for customers and partners to join our mission.

The Vision You will be architect of a marketing strategy that builds a best-in-class clean beauty movement. Every campaign, message, and initiative will reflect the ethos of Naturisimo: inclusive, subversive, witty, and aspirational. You’ll balance commercial goals with cultural resonance, driving both business results and emotional connections.

Your Role As our Head of Marketing, you will:

1. Build the Movement

  • Turn Customers into Advocates: Create campaigns that inspire customers to share their stories, refer friends, and become champions of clean beauty.
    Create a Rewards Ecosystem: Develop our innovative incentive program for customers, brands, and collaborators that celebrate and reward contributions to the clean movement.

    Grow the Resistance: Craft referral and community-building initiatives that align with our ethos—subversive, inclusive, and inspiring.

 

2. Define the Strategy

  • Shape the Brand Narrative: Evolve Naturisimo’s brand voice and identity into one that speaks to the altruistic egotist—empowering customers while showing them how they’re contributing to a greater cause.
    Own the Marketing Calendar: Design and execute a strategy that balances bottom-of-funnel revenue-driving campaigns with long-term brand-building initiatives, ensuring it integrates promotions and campaigns from partner brands.

    Drive Omni-Channel Excellence: Oversee CRM (Klaviyo), social media, influencer partnerships, PR, SEO, and performance marketing to build a cohesive, impactful strategy.

     

3. Lead the Charge in Customer Acquisition & Retention

  • Test & Scale Channels: Lead experiments across paid social, Google Ads, SEO, influencers, and emerging platforms to uncover scalable acquisition channels.

    Maximise Retention: Develop sophisticated lifecycle marketing strategies that nurture customers and drive repeat purchases.

    Coordinate with Buying and E-Commerce Teams: Work closely with the buying head to align promotional campaigns with stock availability and key category priorities. Collaborate with the e-commerce head to optimise the customer journey and enhance conversion rates across the site.

     

4. Innovate with Data & Insights

  • Track Performance: Establish clear KPIs and reporting mechanisms to measure success, from CAC to LTV and beyond.
  • Leverage Insights: Use customer data and market trends to inform strategies and optimise campaigns in real-time.

 

5. Coordinate with Brands

  • Collaborate with Brand Marketing Teams: Work closely with partner brands’ marketing teams to negotiate promotional opportunities, ensuring they align with Naturisimo’s ethos and deliver maximum value to customers.
  • Oversee Marketing Calendar: Build and manage a comprehensive marketing calendar that integrates brand promotions, seasonal campaigns, and key launches. Ensure alignment with the buying team to spotlight priority brands and categories while driving cohesive campaigns across channels.

     

6. Lead & Collaborate

  • Build the Team: Hire and mentor a nimble, high-performing marketing team that shares the vision for building a movement.
  • Collaborate Across Functions: Partner closely with Buying, Operations, and Creative to align marketing efforts with broader business objectives. Collaborate with the e-commerce head to ensure seamless site experiences and drive customer engagement.
  • Be Hands-On: You’ll need to roll up your sleeves in the early stages while building a team that scales with the business.

     

What We’re Looking For Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience leading marketing in an e-commerce business, ideally in beauty retail, wellbeing, or lifestyle.
  • Track record of driving growth across paid and organic channels.
  • Experience in brand building and storytelling, with a knack for creating emotional connections.
  • Strong CRM and lifecycle marketing expertise.
  • A data-driven mindset with the ability to translate numbers into actionable insights.
